artisan unleashed gallery

Designing the brand identity and brand assets for the Artisan Unleashed Gallery.

Branding

The Artisan Unleashed gallery was a pop-up exhibition in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Showcasing works from Queensland’s rising craft & design practitioners. My design was done through LiveWorm, and was chosen as the runner-up for the final brand.

The Artisan Unleashed Brand Identity explores geometry, contrast and negative space in creating a futuristic and artistic brand identity. The logo uses basic geometry to represent the artistry that can be achieved through unification.

Inclusive futures design lab

Creating a complete brand identity with inclusive design thinking.

Branding

Research

The Inclusive Futures Design Lab is an up-and-coming product design sector within the Queensland College of Art. The brand's mission is to use product design to create a more inclusive future for people of all abilities.

As a candidate designer for this project, I focused on inclusivity as the core design component. Reflecting the brand's values through their visual identification, while still maintaining a modern aesthetic to reflect their revolutionary work.

Musify

Synthesising an all-in-one music learning mobile app through a user case-study.

App Design

Branding

Research

Musify is a mobile application prototype, designed to cater to users’ needs and wants. Helping the user complete specific tasks that they struggle with.

The user the project is focused on is my Dad. The app is designed to help him learn and practice songs for his numerous musical projects. The UI and design are inspired by Spotify. Given the relationship between the two apps, Musify was proposed as a partnership with Spotify. The musicians go to music learning programs, like Spotify for streaming music.

One against; the other

An exploration of typography and dark themes through posters and album covers.

Album Covers

Posters

One Against; The Other is a series of posters and album covers that explore dark themes and custom or altered typography. This series uniquely reflects my tastes and interests using gothic imagery, unique words, and Cormac McCarthy passages.

The One Against; The Other brand is also used as a musical project. Creating a link between the brand’s identity across audio and visual mediums.

I acknowledge the Jagera people and the Turrbal people as the Traditional Custodians of Meanjin (Brisbane), the lands on which I work. I pay my respects to Jagera and Turrbal Elders past, present and emerging.
